In 1993, the now legendary Celine Dion scored her first number one song in the United States with her cover version of Jennifer Rush’s 1984 hit, “The Power of Love.”  Although the song was a success for almost every artist who recorded it, no one’s version is as popular and memorable as Dion’s, which earned a Grammy nomination and has been certified platinum in both Australia and the United States. Even though Dion’s career now includes several number one hits, “The Power of Love,” has remained one of her most noteworthy songs. Now, nearing the 20th anniversary of Dion’s version, the song remains a favorite by those who, to put it simply, believe in the power of love.  While many other songs have come, gone, and been forgotten, “The Power of Love” has stood the test of time, and many fans hope to honor the song in one of the most timeless ways. Here are five tweets from fans who want “The Power of Love” to be played at their wedding.
