Who Is Matt Klotz? The Swimming Prodigy 

Born on 24 May 1996, Matt Klotz is currently 27 years old and resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

He grew up with an older sister, Stephanie, to his parents, Dean and Linda Klotz, in Cameron Park, California. 

The swimmer has pursued his education at Louisiana State University (LSU). From 2016 to 2020, Klotz attended LSU as a student-athlete, leaving a lasting mark with impressive achievements.

Notably, he holds the third fastest time in the school’s history for the 50 Free and the 200 Back, as well as the fourth fastest time in the 100 Back.

Additionally, Klotz was part of the 200 Free Relay team that broke the school record at the SEC Championships, as reported by LSU Athletics.

Before attending LSU, Matt Klotz was a standout athlete at Vista Del Lago High School. 

The swimmer earned a four-year varsity letter and received the All-City Sports Athlete Award.

His outstanding performance led him to be recognized as the 2013 USA Deaf Sports Male Athlete of the Year.

Matt Klotz’s achievements extended beyond the high school level, as he secured gold medals in the 100 and 200-meter backstrokes at the 2013 Deaflympics held in Bulgaria.

Additionally, he holds three deaf world records in the 50, 100, and 200 backstroke events.

His talent and dedication were further acknowledged when he was named the 2013 USA Deaf Sports Federation USA Male Athlete of the Year.

Furthermore, he qualified for USA nationals, US Open, and USA Jr. national championships, showcasing his prowess in national-level competitions.

Matt Klotz Has Joined The Big Brother 25 Cast

Matt Klotz will make history as the first hearing-impaired contestant on CBS’ “Big Brother” in the show’s 25-season run.

Joining 15 other houseguests, he will be featured on Wednesday’s live premiere at 7 p.m.
