Richard Peter Lovato Jr. is the full name of Rick Lovato, a long snapper for the Philadelphia Eagles in the National Football League. When he was a student at Middletown High School South in Middletown, New Jersey, 6′ 2″ tall Rick began long snapping. During Rick Lovato’s senior year of high school, he was named to the Third Team All-Monmouth County and All-Conference teams.
Rick Lovato started long snapping at Middletown South as a freshman, averaging.70 seconds. Rick was able to play both defensive line and center. Rick helped Middletown South achieve a 39-6 record, three state runner-up finishes, and the 2009 Colonial Division crown during his time there. During his NCAA football career, Lovato played 50 games as the Old Dominion Monarchs’ long snapper from 2011 to 2014.
