Troy Landry is one of the most prominent and successful alligator hunters on the show. He is known for his signature phrase “Choot ’em!” and his distinctive orange cap. He comes from a long line of swampers and has been hunting alligators since he was a boy. He runs his own business, Landry’s Seafood, and employs several family members and friends as his helpers. He is married to Bernita Landry and has three sons: Jacob, Chase, and Brandon.

Jacob Landry (Seasons 1- present, 94 episodes)

Jacob Landry is Troy’s oldest son and right-hand man. He is a proud Cajun who loves his culture and heritage. He speaks French fluently and often uses Cajun expressions on the show. He enjoys cooking Cajun dishes such as boudin, cracklins, alligator sauce piquante, and alligator soup. He is a devout Catholic who attends church regularly. He is married to Lyndsi Landry and has two children: Ridge and Kase.

Jacob grew up in the swamp and followed his father’s footsteps in hunting alligators. He also learned how to operate and fix boats from his grandfather. He joined the Swamp People in 2010 and is one of the original cast members who has appeared on every season of the show. He is a loyal and reliable helper who always supports his father and his team. He is also a smart and resourceful hunter who can handle any situation in the swamp. He has faced many challenges and dangers in his hunting career, such as getting bitten by a gator, getting stuck in the mud, getting lost in the fog, getting attacked by bees, and getting shot at by poachers. He has also had some memorable moments on the show, such as catching a gator with a bow and arrow, catching a gator with a fishing rod, catching a gator with a crossbow, catching a gator with a harpoon, and catching a gator with a knife.

Chase Landry (Seasons 3- present, over 65 episodes)

Chase Landry is a professional alligator hunter who learned all sorts of outdoor activities from his father Troy Landry, who introduced him to swamp life at a young age. Chase is known for his sharpshooting skills, his adventurous spirit and his charismatic personality. He is also a talented musician who can play guitar and sing.

Chase made his debut on Swamp People in 2012 during the third season as he teamed with his elder brother Jacob and father Troy. He has made over 70 episode appearances until 2023. In addition to Swamp People, Chase has appeared in the spin-offs Swamp People: Serpent Invasion and Swamp Mysteries with Troy Landry.

Anthony Porkchop Williams (Seasons 13- present, over 18 episodes)

Anthony “Porkchop” Williams is a sixth-generation alligator hunter from Louisiana. He joined the show in season 13 and returned for season 14.

He learned everything from his grandfather, who taught him how to navigate the swamp, set lines, bait hooks, and catch gators. Porkchop grew up on swamp boats and developed a passion for the swamp lifestyle.

Porkchop has a large family that shares his love for gator hunting. His cousin Leron Jones is his hunting partner and best friend. They have been hunting together since they were young and have a close bond.

Leron Jones (Seasons 13- present, 18 episodes):

Leron Jones was born on November 15, 1982, in Vacherie, Louisiana, United States. He comes from a family of gator hunters and learned how to hunt and fish from his grandfather and his cousin Porkchop.  He is also a skilled cook who runs his own catering business and food truck that serves Cajun cuisine. He hunts alligators in the swamps of Louisiana with his cousin Anthony “Porkchop” Williams. He joined the show in season 13 and returned for season 14.

Leron is married to Lona Lani Jones, who is a photographer.  They have a son named Lion Malik Jones, who was born in 2017. Leron also has children from a previous marriage, but their identity is not known. Leron is a devout Christian who enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Pickle Wheat (Seasons 12- present, 35 episodes)

Cheyenne “Pickle” Wheat comes from a family of gator hunters and learned how to hunt and fish from her father, Eddie Wheat. Her great-grandfather was one of the original alligator hunters in St. Bernard Parish. Pickle is also a talented duck and turkey caller who helps with the family business. She is dating Joshua Kippes, an emergency medical technician, and they have a daughter named Maemi, who was born in April 2023. Pickle also has a stepson from Joshua’s previous relationship.

Willie Edwards (Seasons 1- 5, 9-present, 110 episodes)

Willie Edwards is a third-generation gator hunter who learned the skills from his father and grandfather. He is also a skilled fisherman and trapper who catches crawfish, crabs, deer, frogs, wild pigs, and various fish.  He joined the show in 2010 however, at the end of season five he was fired from the show. He returned for the second stint during season 8 and has been a regular cast member ever since.

Little Willie Edwards (Seasons 11- present, 29 episodes)

Little Willie Edwards is the son of Willie Edwards and Sherrie Edwards, who are also gator hunters. He was born as William IV Edwards in Plaquemine, Louisiana, USA. Little Willie has been hunting gators since he was a child, learning from his father and grandfather. He is one of the youngest gator hunters on the show, but he is also fearless and determined. He works with his father and his brother, Landon Edwards, on their boat. He also enjoys hunting other animals, such as deer, squirrels, and wild pigs, and catching crawfish and crabs. 

Ronnie Adams (Seasons 10- present, 52 episodes)

Ronnie Adams is an American alligator hunter and one of the most successful hunters on the bayou, with unmatched knowledge of the backchannels of the swamp. He joined the show in 2019 and has been a regular cast member since then.

Ronnie was born on February 14, 1974, in Violet, Louisiana, USA2. He learned how to hunt gators from his grandfather, who was also a gator hunter. He is a large and strong man, standing at 6 feet 5 inches and weighing 265 pounds. He is not afraid to get physical with the gators and uses his strength to catch them.

Ronnie works with his partner Ashley “Dead Eye” Jones, who is a sharpshooter and a good friend. They face many challenges in the swamp, such as hurricanes, heatwaves, and cold spells. They also have to compete with other hunters for tags and territory. Ronnie is also a hog hunter and runs his own hog-hunting business.

Don Brewer (Seasons 11- present, over 26 episodes)

Don Brewer is an American alligator hunter and one of the most fearless men in the south, who has been bitten by just about every creature in the swamp, including a beaver, skunk, snake and raccoon. He joined the show in 2020 and has been a regular cast ever since. He is a professional catfish noodler and an adrenaline junkie.

Zak Catchem (Seasons 10-present, 42 episodes)

Zak Catchem is known for his sharpshooting skills and his impressive fishing resume, particularly when it comes to deep sea fish. He joined the show in 2019 and has been a regular cast member since then. Zak has been fishing from childhood and won a fishing tournament at the age of 14 hosted by the International Game Fish Association. Unlike most of his peers, Zak is not fully dependent on the Swamp. He owns a YouTube channel entitled Catch Em All Fishing with over 4M subscribers where he shares videos of his fishing adventures, tips, tricks, and other fishing-related content.

Bruce Mitchell (Seasons 1–9, 12–present, 93 episodes)

Bruce Mitchell is one of the most recognizable faces of the show, with his trademark overalls and an American flag bandana. Bruce’s earliest exposure to gator hunting came when he started to work on Kliebert’s Alligator & Turtle Farm. This was back in 1980 when he was still a greenhorn in the world of gator hunting. The farm belonged to the father of his then-girlfriend, Janet Kliebert. Over the years, Bruce learned all the necessary skills from his father-in-law and started hunting gators in the swamp. When he married Janet, Bruce moved to the farm and continued working under his father-in-law.

Bruce joined the show in 2010 and hunted alligators in the swamps of Louisiana with his partner Ron Methvin, who is an Army veteran and a sniper. They faced many challenges in the swamp, such as hurricanes, floods, poachers, and competition from other hunters. They also have to deal with the problem of the invasive nutria rats that are destroying the wetlands. Ron left the show to pursue a career as a Louisiana Police trooper while Bruce also left the show at the end of season 9 for his own reasons only to return back. Bruce has been a regular since season 12.

Ashley Jones (Seasons 10 –present, 53 episodes)

Ashley Jones is an American alligator hunter who is famously known as ‘Deadeye’ for her impeccable shot. She rarely ever misses. She joined the show in 2018 and has been a regular cast member since then. Ashley is also a wife and mom with a passion for hunting. She started hunting after she suffered a miscarriage and battled depression. Ashley hunts alligators in the swamps of Louisiana with her partner Ronnie Adams, who is also her good friend. They faced many challenges in the swamp, such as hurricanes, floods, poachers, and competition from other hunters. They also have to deal with the problem of the invasive pythons that are threatening the ecosystem of the swamp.

Timmy Aucoin (Season 14-present, 9 episodes)

Timmy Aucoin is an American alligator hunter who joined the show in season 14, which premiered in 2022. He is one of the new hunters who are introduced to the show where he is seen facing the challenges and dangers of hunting alligators in the Atchafalaya Basin, the largest wetland and swamp in the United States. He grew up hunting alligators with his father and grandfather, learning the skills and traditions of the bayou. He swore he would do whatever it takes to make a living in the wetlands, even if it meant risking his life every day.

Timmy has been hunting alligators for over 40 years and has earned a reputation as one of the best and most experienced hunters in the area. He also fishes for crawfish when he is not wrangling gators, and sells his catch to local restaurants and markets. He lives with his daughter in Pierre Part, a small town in the heart of Cajun country.

Anna Ribbeck (season 14-present, 11 episodes)

Anna Ribbeck is an American archer and hunter who joined the cast of Swamp People in season 14, which premiered in 2022. She is one of the few female hunters on the show and has proven herself to be a fearless and formidable competitor. She hunts alligators with her bow and arrow, as well as other swamp creatures such as nutria rats. Anna was born Anna Eileen Ribbeck in 1993 in Covington, Louisiana, and grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana. She developed a love for nature and adventure from a young age. She excelled in academics as well as athletics. She graduated from Fontainebleau High School in 2011. Then she joined Louisiana State University and pursued Bachelor in Science. Anna also got into archery during college when she was introduced to the sport by a friend. She fell in love with slinging arrows and started hunting deer, turkey, and alligators with her bow.

Anna currently works as a social media strategist at LSU AgCenter, an institution that conducts research and extension activities related to agriculture, natural resources, and human sciences. She is also a Pro Staff at Bear Archery, Inc, one of the leading manufacturers of archery equipment in the world. 

Daniel Edgar (seasons 7-present, 46 episodes)

Daniel Edgar is a man of the swamp, a master of gator hunting and fishing who has lived by the bayou all his life. Daniel comes from a family of fishermen as his parents and grandparents were the fishermen of Southern Louisiana. The third generation in the line, Daniel got into commercial fishing at a young age. He also did not turn a blind eye to his academics and attended Jonas Henderson High School. He also owns a popular seafood company called St. Mary, which deals with fish, shrimp, crabs, and crawfish. He joined the show in season 7 and has been hunting with his sons Joey and Dwaine and grandson Dorien Edgar.

Joey Edgar (Seasons 7-present, 48 episodes)

Joey Edgar is the son of Daniel Edgar and the brother of Dwaine Edgar, who are both veteran hunters and fishermen. He joined the show in season 7 and has been hunting with his father and his friend Zak Catchem. He is a smart and resourceful hunter who can fix any problem on the boat or in the swamp. He is also the co-founder of Louisiana Bait Products and runs his father’s business, St. Mary’s Seafood Incorporated, which deals with fish, shrimp, crabs, and crawfish.

Dorien Edgar (Seasons 7-9, 12-present, 27 episodes)

Dorien is the son of Dwaine Edgar and the grandson of Daniel Edgar, who are both veteran hunters and fishermen. He is a young and ambitious hunter who wants to learn from his elders and prove himself in the swamp. He grew up immersed in the world of alligator hunting. He learned the art of hunting and trapping from his father and grandfather. As an adult, Dorien wanted to explore other opportunities and left the swamp to work in oil fields in Texas and Oklahoma. He joined the show in season 7 and appeared until season 9. Then he left to work in oil fields again only to return back. He has been a regular cast member since season 12.

Dwaine Edgar (Seasons 8-9)

Dwaine Edgar is an alligator hunter and former baseball player. He is the son of Daniel Edgar, a legendary swamp man who runs a seafood business with his family in Louisiana. He appeared on season 8 and season 9 of the show, where he showed his expertise and passion for hunting alligators. He has also shared some of his personal stories and challenges on the show.

Junior Edwards (Seasons 1-6, 12, episodes 101)

Junior Edwards has been hunting alligators since he was a teenager and has passed on his skills and passion to his son Willie and grandson “Little Willie”, who also appear on the show. He joined the show in 2010 as one of the original cast members and appeared for six seasons until he was fired in 2016 along with several other cast members due to executive changes. While away from the show Daniel and his wife focused on hoop net fishing. He briefly returned to the show in season 12 to help his son Willie with the gator invasion. He has faced some tragedies in his personal life, such as losing his son Randy in a car crash in 2018.

Tommy Chauvin (Seasons 1-7, episodes 54)

Tommy Chauvin was another original cast member who appeared on the show from season 1 to season 7. He was a young and energetic alligator hunter who hunted with his stepfather Joe LaFont, also known as Trapper Joe. He was known for his enthusiasm, humor, and bravery. He often took risks and faced dangerous situations in the swamp.

Liz Cavalier (Seasons 2-7, 12, 95 episodes)

Liz Cavalier was one of the few female alligator hunters on the show who joined in season 2 and stayed until season 7. She briefly returned for season 12. She was nicknamed “The Gator Queen” for her fearless and fierce attitude towards the reptiles. She started hunting with her father when she was a teenager and later joined Troy Landry’s team as his helper. She was known for her skill, determination, and charisma.

Big T (Seasons 9-11, episodes 15)

Big T was a fan-favorite cast member who joined in season 9 and stayed until season 11. He was a friend and helper of Troy Landry who had been hunting alligators for over 20 years. He was known for his big personality, big heart, and big appetite. He often made jokes and sang songs while hunting in the swamp. Big T left the show after season 11 due to health and financial problems. He also struggled to pay his medical bills and support his family. He said that he hoped to return to hunting someday if his condition improved.

Terral Evans (Seasons 2, 5–6, 10–11, episodes 48)

Terral Evans is a longtime friend and associate of Troy Landry. Terral has been hunting and trapping alligators for as long as he can remember. He joined the marine corps during his teens and served for a couple of years. After retiring from service, Terral began working as a project manager in the oil and chemical industry for over three decades. He also worked with the Mississippi-based Wildlife Conservatives and Fisheries, catching and relocating gators to Honey Island instead of killing them. He joined the show Swamp People in 2011 and had three stints with them. He appeared in seasons 2, 4,5, 10 and 11 before leaving the show.

R.J Molinere (Seasons 2-10, episodes 105)

R.J. is an Alligator hunter, a champion arm wrestler, a fisherman, and a Native American of the Houma tribe. He was born on September 21, 1961, in Louisiana, United States. He has been hunting alligators since he was a teenager and has passed on his skills and passion to his son Jay Paul Molinere, who also appears on the show. He joined the show in season 2 and appeared for nine seasons before leaving in 2019.

Jay Paul Molinere (Seasons 2-10, episodes 78)

Jay Paul is the son of R.J. Molinere and a Native American of the Houma tribe. He has been hunting alligators with his father since he was a teenager and has become a sharpshooter and a skilled tracker. He joined the show in season 2 and appeared for nine seasons until he left in 2019. He is also a trained MMA fighter and a former professional boxer who has participated in various tournaments. 

Holden Landry (Seasons 5–6, 8–10, over 13 episodes)

Holden Landry is a young alligator hunter and a reality television star who appeared on the History Channel’s show Swamp People. He is the nephew of Troy Landry and the cousin of Jacob, Chase, and Brandon Landry, who are all veteran hunters and fishermen. He worked as a deckhand for his cousin Chase. He has a tattoo of the word “Famille” on his forearm, which means family in French and shows his love and loyalty to his relatives.

Destin Choate ( Season 12, episodes 5)

Alligator hunter Destin Choate is the stepson of Liz Choate, who is also known as the “Alligator Queen” for her hunting skills. He grew up in the swamp and learned how to hunt gators from his stepmom and his dad. He also played high school football. He joined the show for season 12 in 2021 and appeared on 5 episodes.

Gerrard “Gee” Singleton (seasons 7-10, 12, episodes 12)

Gerrard “Gee” Singleton is a lifelong crab fisherman and a reality television star who appeared on the History Channel’s show Swamp People. He is the hunting partner of Robert “Frenchy” Crochet, who is also his friend and mentor. He joined the show in season 7 and appeared for four seasons until he left in 2019. He returned to the show in season 12 along with Frenchy. He is a cheerful and energetic hunter who brings humor and enthusiasm to the team. He hunts with traditional Native American tactics and uses his physical strength and agility to catch big gators in the swamp. He also enjoys racing drag boats when he is not working. 

Robert “Frenchy” Crochet (Seasons 7–10, 12, episodes 12)

Robert “Frenchy” Crochet was a gator angler on Swamp People.  He joined the show in season 7 and appeared for four seasons until he left in 2019. He returned to the show in season 12 along with Frenchy.  He retired from gator hunting a few years back but came back due to the growing population of alligators.

Dusty Crum (Seasons 10, 13, episodes 7)

Dusty Crum is a snake hunter and reality TV star who is passionate about protecting the Everglades’ ecosystem from the invasive Burmese pythons. He has been hunting reptiles since he was a child and has developed a unique style of hunting barefoot and with a feather in his hair. He has appeared on several TV shows, such as Swamp Mysteries with Troy Landry, Swamp People, Swamp People: Serpent Invasion, and Guardian of the Glades. He is also known as the Python Wildman and the Defender of the Everglades. He works closely with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and other conservationists to reduce the python population and save native wildlife.

Glenn Guist (Seasons 2-9, episodes 73)

Glenn Guist is an American gator hunter who grew up in the Conway Bayou community. He learned hunting skills from his father, Hubert Guist, who was also a professional gator hunter. He was very close with his brother Mitchell Guist, who died of a heart attack in 2012. Glenn and Mitchell appeared together on Swamp People as the Guist Brothers, and they were known for their laid-back and humorous personalities. Glenn continued to appear on the show after his brother’s death and appeared until 2018.

Ron Methvin (Seasons 3-9, episodes 75)

Ron Methvin is a professional alligator hunter and a military veteran who served in the Louisiana National Guard and the SWAT team. He joined the show in 2012 as a partner of Bruce Mitchell and showed his remarkable sniping skills. He appeared on the show until 2018, when he left to join the Louisiana State Police Trooper. He is married to Nicole and has two children.

Joe Lafont (Seasons 1-3, 5-7, episodes 54)

Joe Lafont (also known as Trapper Joe) is a professional alligator hunter and a Cajun who lives in Louisiana. He joined the show in 2010 as a partner of his stepson Tommy Chauvin. He appeared on the show until season 3, then returned briefly for season 6 before leaving for good. He has been involved in several legal issues, including domestic violence, assault and battery, and illegal possession of alligator parts.

Jeromy Pruitt (Seasons 4-7, episodes 51)

Jeromy Pruitt is an American Alligator hunter and former Swamp People cast. From a young age, he followed his stepfather David Le Dart into the swamps of Louisiana, learning the secrets of the alligator trade. He developed a keen eye, a steady hand, and a fearless spirit that earned him the nickname “king of the swamp”. He joined the reality TV show Swamp People in 2013 and appeared until 2016, where he showcased his skills and challenged other hunters for the title. He became a fan favorite and a successful businessman, earning a fortune from his hunting career and reality TV series. He lives in Louisiana with his wife and children, who share his passion for the outdoors. He is always ready for a new adventure and never backs down from a challenge. David Le Dart ( Seasons 4-5, episodes 31)

David Le Dart is a veteran of the swamp. He has been hunting alligators for over 40 years, passing on his knowledge and experience to his stepson Jeromy Pruitt. He joined the reality TV show Swamp People in 2013, where he formed a formidable team with Jeromy. He is known for his calm demeanor, his strategic approach, and his respect for the swamp and its creatures. He is not afraid to take risks and try new methods to catch the biggest gators. He lives in Louisiana with his wife and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is David Le Dart, the swamp master.
