Richard Blackwood is a British comedian, actor and rapper.
Blackwood rose to fame in 1998, presenting the UK version of the hit American dating game show ‘Singled Out’ on Channel 5.
From there Richard moved to MTV where he became one of the most popular hosts of MTV Select, a weekday afternoon show that featured interviews with bands and singers, video requests, and a countdown of the ten songs that received the most votes at the MTV website.
In 2000, Blackwood released his debut single ‘Mama Who Da Man’, which debuted at number 3 in the Official UK Singles chart.
